The Greatest Showman Review, by Kids!
This was one of those movies EVERYONE was raving about so we had to make sure we caught it at the theater (despite a record flu season). As I was watching it, I was thinking…”My husband is probably over their dying to leave” (he’s usually not a fan of musicals), “This is so awesome for the kids, so many amazing life lessons!” I had it all wrong. My husband LOVED it and the kids loved it too, but what about those life lessons? I thought they were going to be so profound, I had the kids do their first video review. Check out The Greatest Showman Review, brought to you by my kids! My kids have been dying to have a YouTube channel. I asked them if they wanted to help me out with my blog, we will do some videos and see how they like it, this is their very first one of our little experiment.
So yeah, there ya have it.
Powerful Lessons about Life.
Despite what my kids absorbed, they are there. The ones that stood out to me were:
- You can do anything you want to, no matter your back ground or your training…dream big and go make it happen.
- We all have something that makes us amazing and unique to the world and sharing that with the world makes it a better place.
- There are some really mean people out there, you can’t let them kill your spirit.
The music was amazing. It tells a story and is very moving. Except for the one where Zac Efron goes a little “High School Musical” with the duet, but is good looks make it tolerable. You can check it out here, The Greatest Showman Soundtrack.
It was educational. I found it very interesting how the Barnum enterprise began.
This is actually a movie I want to go see again while it is still out in theaters and that rarely happens.
