How to do a GelMoment Party!
By now, you have most likely been a part of a direct sales party by either attending or hosting. For some personalities, the idea of running your own party can be terrifying! I am going to give a few tips on how to do a GelMoment party, so you can proceed with confidence!!
The Set Up.
K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Sweetheart!) You should be able to bring everything you need to do your party in one good sized bag or a couple smaller ones. 31 has a great bag that I use for for my set up, but you can use a couple of reusable shopping bags. What do you need to pack?
You can do a small party with the lamp that came in your enrollment kit. To really get you in the party business, purchasing the Zoom kit will equip you with everything you need to run a great party, including an assortment of lamps. Ideally, I like to demo the Professional lamp. It really is worth every penny to be able to set 4 fingers in 45 seconds and customers who experience it, love it! I always take 4 lamps to a party, that seems to be plenty, unless you are expecting a large turn out of 10 or more.
The polish selection that comes with your enrollment kit will be enough for a small party. As time goes on, you will be able to sample out more polish to have available for your guests to try. Again, this is a great way for you to use your Zoom kit investment! Your kit will come with hundreds of dollars of polish that has been made available to you at a great discount. I sampled out all of the polish that came with my Zoom kit and my customers love having a great selection to chose from for their sample manicure.
Each person has a place mat, order form, pen/pencil, and a kit of items needed to prepare, apply and remove their GelMoment manicure. I love using little gauze bags for this, I’ll go over this more in a minute.
In the center of the table, I set out some nail polish remover and cotton balls, a couple sets of reading glasses and some extra cleansing wipes. I DO NOT have any nail clippers or cuticle trimmers available.
I also have out the polish colors I have available for them to sample and my set of nail color sticks.
Sample Manicure Kit.
The Gauze Bag Set Up, as I like to call it, has the following items. A link to all of the items is below.
5 Remover Pads
2 Cleansing Wipes
1 Mini GelMoment Nail FIle
An Orange Stick (to help them clean up their manicure before curing)
My Business Card
A card with removal instructions
Bring what you have available, you don’t need everything! I like to have the contents of The Professional Kit and Beginner’s Choice Kit out on the table by where I will be standing. I use the contents as props as I go through the party. You can even save empty boxes instead of bringing the real deal.
Your job as the consultant is to guide them through a GelMoment manicure, encouraging them to get excited about the product along the way, and facilitate a simple shopping experience. Our product line is very simple, which makes our parties much less complicated than most! This video is a simple example of how to do a GelMoment party.
